The Bugatti family Company was founded in 1923 in Lumezzane to produce cutlery and household articles. The first die-casting machine to be used in the area was at the Bugatti factory, in 1926. Two years later (1928) their experience and passion for the new production systems enabled the Bugatti brothers to develop a new brass alloy called "Lega Bugatti". In 1930 they started the first chromed brass cutleries production in Italy. In 1949, when the Bugatti production started to be sold for the first time out of Europe, new contracts with American clients opened the US market to the Bugatti's quality and brand.
In 1999, the Company introduced itself under the name CASA BUGATTI, a brand that is growing all around the world.
