Karlsson - a solid Dutch design brand within the Present Time family – is a brand specialised in clocks. The Karlsson brand is one that’s synonymous with good quality, stunning graphics, aesthetic shapes and innovative design.
Today the Karlsson range can be seen as a collection separated into two distinct categories. First there’s the classic clocks. The clean shapes and understated colours of black, white and silver lend themselves to the business environment and complement any office/ workspace. Alongside this there’s a range of stylish and contemporary clocks, which cater for traditional, design-led and experimental interiors. These are influenced by current colour and print-based trends and can accessorize any home beautifully.
During the summer of 2005, Karlsson introduced a ‘Trend collection’. This second collection contains more colourful clocks with visually stimulating prints and was put together with kids and teens in mind. Designed exclusively by Dutch Designer BoxtelBuijs, the Peek-a-boo has become one of our most successful ranges within the Trend collection. BoxtelBuijs is also responsible for the design of 36 other clocks available in the collection.
The Karlsson collection is constantly being renewed and updated by international designers and the Present Time team. Karlsson has extended its range extensively with a series of large clocks. Take the Mega Disc for instance, with its overwhelming size and simple design you simply can’t miss it in the office or at home.
Another star of the show is the ‘Good old time’ clock. The design of this clock, by BOX 32, was influenced by the past. The idea behind it was to create a timeless focal point. With its domed glass and backlit face, this clock is without a doubt breathtakingly special. Our clocks can be found worldwide in design shops, department stores and shops specializing in clocks.
